Some rules have changed for "AA" play:
There is now a seven rule limit per bat. If the home team is leading by seven or more runs in the bottom of the last inning, the game is over. The seven run mercy rule after five innings still applies.
If the game is tied after seven innings, one extra inning will be played in accordance with the International Tiebreaker Rule (CASA). If the game is still tied after the extra inning, the game ends in a tie.
Remember, these changes are for the "AA" program only.

There is a contradiction in the 2005/06 CASA Rule Book regarding non-team member interference. The rules in conflict are 8-2n Effect 2n (page 180) and 8-7l Effect 7l(1-2) (page 184). The correct rule is 8-7l. That is, when a non-team member interferes with a fielder about to catch a fly ball or a fly ball that a defensive player is able to catch, the ball is dead, the batter-runner is out, and the umpire may award bases that, in his judgement, the runners would have reached had there been no interference.
