2003 Level IV Theory Clinic
During the last weekend of March, four members from the EMSUA travelled to the city of Regina to attend Western Canada's 2003 Level IV Theory Clinic. Host by Softball Saskatchewan and instructed by Doug Cundall and Randy Souliers with the assistance of Saskatchewan UIC Sterling Swain, the course covered various topics including the psychology of umpiring, preventative officiating, game management and the four umpire system. Completing the theory course, all four umpires now look forward to their next challenge: a Canadian Championship.
