Al Shenduk Stepping Down

At the end of the 2005 season, Al Shenduk will be stepping down from the position of provincial umpire-in-chief after 16 years of leading Alberta's officiating program. Al leaves the post after a very successful year with Calgary hosting Blue Convention 2005 in March, and Edmonton hosting the 2005 World Masters Games in July.

The EMSUA decided to honour Al's contributions to the sport of softball by presenting him with a plaque and an EMSUA golf-shirt, as well as retiring his EMSUA number, 999.
