Al Shenduk Inducted Into Softball Alberta Hall of Fame

At the 2006 Softball Alberta AGM and Awards Banquet, former provincial UIC Al Shenduk was inducted into the Softball Alberta Hall of Fame. Al served as the provincial UIC for 16 years, stepping down at the end of last year, and has volunteered many thousands of hours of his time to the game of softball, from the local level to the international stage. He joins only four other officials in the Hall of Fame.

Earlier in the day, the Alberta Softball Umpires Association also honoured Al by awarding him a lifetime membership in the organization in recognition of his many years of service to the officials program and softball in general.
