Softball Canada provides standardized testing for five levels of officiating in both fast pitch and slo-pitch. In addition, EMSUA provides a local designation, EMSUA status.

Level III

Level IV
Level IV certification allows one to officiate all Canadian Championships as well as a number of national and international tournaments.
Level V
Level V certification allows one to officiate elite national and international events including the Pan-Am Games and the Olympics, as well as to supervise Canadian Championships.
